I just wanted to remind everyone of our achievements this week.
We have managed to set up the majority of the school accessing an app which connects learners and teachers and we are all finding it useful and we have a good response for week 1.
The school mobile phone has been ringing off the hook with requests for help and support and I hope you have found it easy to get in touch with us and I think our response has been quick and helpful.
Staff have loved receiving work and pictures and we have seen lots and lots of happy, smiling children and work of a really high standard. I know you are all missing school but teachers choose their line of work as they want to work and help children and we have really missed being with the children too and it has been fantastic to reconnect.
Our new home learning menu will be revealed on Monday and we hope you are all going to value and enjoy this. I think before we start the next part of our home learning it is really important to just give ourselves a big well done for this week and to thank staff for their enthusiasm and hard work which has helped all of this to happen and to thank learners and parents for getting involved and ‘having a go’.
I know this sounds really ‘cheesy’ but one of the values we chose for our school community was resilience. Trying new things, not giving up when things don’t work first time and supporting each other to keep going and I think we all deserve a Head Teachers Award for showing this value this week!!
Have a great weekend and thank you all for your continued support. You are doing a great job!
